TECHNICAL PRODUCER, Platform Support
The Technical Producer will support Ad Operations and other service departments with ad project testing, technical solutions to advertising creative, ad delivery, customer support tools, and other operations support issues. The Technical Producer is expected to document and participate in testing projects, including site integration, systems development, and new products. The Technical Producer is expected to communicate with multiple groups such as Engineering, Client Services, Product, and must have excellent written and verbal skills as well as a high level of customer service. This role will also drive product/system improvements and execution of projects.
Document tests, policies, procedures, and technology implementation.
Understand ad serving logic/models platforms.
Analyze, develop, and coordinate new processes.
Provide feedback on improvements for QA, and ad products.
Manage technical implementation of complex ad products and custom units.
Work closely with Ad Operations, senior level Project and Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales.
Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure all products function properly on sites and services.
Manage large and longer term projects as assigned by manager, including integration of external technology, services, and sites and development of internal projects and technology.
Manage escalation of technical implementation of ad products and custom units.
Desire to meet challenges, solve problems and deliver solutions in a fast-paced, continuously evolving work environment.
Assists in prioritizing projects based on objectives and priorities.
BA/BS or equivalent experience in internet industry, internet advertising, project management, or technical production environment.
4+ years experience in internet industry; ad operations and/or technical experience.
Proven capability to understand and apply technology to business issues.
Ability to analyze business problems and suggest a technical solution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external teams; high attention to detail.
Preferred experience with one or more internet ad management or targeted marketing applications (e.g., DoubleClick DART Enterprise, DFP).
Rich Media technology experience a plus (e.g. Unicast, Eyewonder, Pointroll)
Must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and be expected to manage and report on multiple projects.
