POSITION SUMMARY
At Voxiva, the Technical Product Development Analyst fills a critical role bridging software product design and delivery efforts between the Product Management team and the Software Technology Delivery functions. As a member of the Operations Team, Analysts will work closely with Product Management to elicit, translate and document non-technical requirements into a comprehensive Technical Product Description. The Analyst will help Product Management clearly articulate their requirements through the development of Use Cases, Process Mapping and User Interface Mock-ups. The Analyst will then work with Technical Delivery Functions to create and sign-off Technical Design documents they will use to deliver against these requirements. Reporting to the Technical Product Development Manager, this position requires both a focus on understanding business needs as articulated by the Product organization and the skill to translate those into working configurations in line with an existing software architecture.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Develop and maintain productive relationships with Product Management (Customer) and the Technical Delivery Teams (Suppliers) in order to ensure timely and effective delivery of software products.
Eliciting and translating business and/or technical needs into business requirements and relevant documentation.
Defining project deliverables and system configurations in line with system design.
Establishing consensus among stakeholders and/or product team members.
Providing support to Quality Assurance Team along the process of testing a product or set of product requirements.
Managing client expectations, facilitating communications and contributing to client satisfaction during and after implementation.
Providing support to the product management team during the process of identifying use cases.
TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE, YOU MUST:
Be capable of understanding and internalizing business processes in order to define system configurations to support those processes.
Be capable of interacting and communicating with all levels of staff and product management in both the business and the technical areas with the ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
Be capable of managing the requirements gathering process between an integrated team of stakeholders and various internal resources including product managers, project managers and software related technical resources.
Have experience in preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, report specifications, and mock-ups.
Have experience in reading and understanding software technical documents such us E/R diagrams, class diagrams, service definitions, etc. as well as mapping them back to the product design and specifications.
Have experience in working with data models, relational database design, and data flow mapping.
Be a self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.
Have strong cross-cultural communication skills.
Be interested in traveling abroad for several weeks at a time during various stages of an implementation.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Bachelor?s Degree required
A minimum of 2-3 years in a consulting environment, preferably within roles responsible for client-facing requirements gathering, software business analysis, project management and/or coordination dealing with the design and development of web-based applications solutions.
2-3 years direct experience managing requirements for software related projects.
1-2 years of experience developing software solutions. Preferably, web-based applications.
Some experience directly conducting process analysis, requirements definition, use-case analysis, and system implementation/deployment management.
Experience in designing and/or supporting software applications.
Must be able to communicate well with culturally diverse clients and internal staff.
Fluent in English. Spanish fluency is a plus.
Willingness and flexibility to travel abroad extensively.
Experience in general public health, epidemiology, and US health market is desirable.
