The Technical Product Manager fills a critical role in the software product delivery efforts. As a member of the product development team, Product Managers will work closely with stakeholders, customers, and the product team to elicit, translate and document non-technical requirements into a Technical Product Description. The Product Manager must clearly articulate their requirements through the development of user stories and team interactions, process mapping and UI mock-ups. This position requires both a focus on understanding business needs and the skill to translate those needs into working Agile software specs, as well as working closely with a highly technical development to deliver a product in a fast paced environment. This is a technical role, so be ready to jump in an get your hands dirty playing with and using the APIs you build as well!
Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with developers, designers, internal stakeholders, and customers in order to ensure timely and effective delivery of software products
Elicite and translate business and/or technical needs into Agile style requirements
Aid in leading a team of highly technical developers and testers as part of an Agile scrum team
Lead stand-ups, planning, retros, and more
Define, implement, test, and use a highly scalable and state of the art API product
Act as the product owner for our internal / external facing API product line and advocate for its associated user experience
Manage client expectations, facilitate communications and contribute to client satisfaction during and after implementation
BA/BS degree in computer science or engineering; MBA a plus
Proven experience in driving and building a technical product
2-3 years direct experience managing requirements for software related projects
Be a self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.

Some experience directly conducting process analysis, requirements definition, use-case analysis, and system implementation/deployment management.
Experience in designing and/or supporting software applications.
Must be able to communicate well with a very strong technical team and business users
Ability to understand and internalize business processes in order to define system configurations to support those processes
Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and product management in both the business and the technical areas with the ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction
Ability to manage the requirements gathering process between an integrated team of stakeholders and various internal resources including product managers, internal stakeholders, customers and software related technical resources
Experience in preparing requirement specifications, report specifications, and mock-ups
Experience in reading and understanding software technical documents such us E/R diagrams, class diagrams, service definitions, etc. as well as mapping them back to the product design and specifications
Experience in working with data models, relational database design, and data flow mapping
