Technical Product Manager AgraQuest

Through its BioInnovations Division, AgraQuest is seeking to become the preferred provider of
proprietary and innovative bio?based solutions animal health and nutrition and global food supply
chain segments.
To support our growing BioInnovations division, we are currently seeking a Technical Product
Manager to manage key aspects of its high growth direct?fed microbial (DFM) product portfolio.
In this role you will be responsible for:
? Providing marketing, technical training and troubleshooting support to customers,
distributors (including Bayer Animal Health and a soon?to?be?announced leading
multinational feed additive company), partners, and end users resulting in successful market
launches and sales growth.
? Overseeing trials involving company products and translate research data into product
performance updates and technical bulletins.
? Developing and determining best positioning strategy for new and existing products, market
research, pricing strategy and public materials.
? Representing the company and deliver presentations describing the company?s products
and technologies at company meetings, trade shows and professional organizations in order
to promote AgraQuest products.
? Coordinating with Research and Development and Technical Director to further strengthen
product story through animal and product research initiatives.
? Leading animal health and nutrition projects and cross?functional team management ,
including overseeing progress on product registrations
? Maintaining knowledge of current product regulations and upcoming changes.
? Ensuring product packaging and presentation serves the respective market?s needs.
? Providing product forecasting and manage product delivery from plant in Mexico
? Working with Operations teams to identify product cost savings opportunities, cost targets,
and ensure inventory levels match expected product demand.
? Building relationships with appropriate trade associations.
? Managing interfaces between AQ Legal and potential partners for development of
confidentiality and material transfer agreements
The primary requirements needed for your success include:
? Advanced degree in poultry science, animal nutrition, veterinary science and/or nutrition or
a demonstrated competency in these areas derived from extensive experience, or a
Bachelor?s degree with strong related technical work experience is acceptable.
? Five+ years of commercial experience in feed additives (medicated or non?medicated) or
animal nutrition selling, marketing, technical service and/or product management,
preferably in poultry or other monogastrics. Aquaculture experience is also a plus.
