The Technical Product Manager works with product development teams. The product management group works very collaboratively with engineering, services, sales, marketing and account management and this role will be responsible for successfully aligning resources against one of the most important customer segments for the company.
Ensure that product vision is decomposed into operational projects and systems that map to business and technology goals
Develop the core software, tools, and API that support all our consumer products
Create features across all products that increase consumer engagement and retention
Develop road maps for new consumer touch points, such as Windows8 (Metro) and our mobile initiatives
Maintain communication among and between stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment of vision and implementation
Develop and maintain technical product roadmaps
Enable prioritization of technical product features amongst stakeholders
Anticipate and mitigate roadblocks and barriers to development
3+ years of experience with professional software product development
1+ years? experience with multiple full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery
Experience developing public APIs and Windows-based Client/Server applications strongly desired
You have a strong understanding of the Browser, Web and OS landscape
You have experience with large scale Content Management Systems
You have strong technical abilities and analytical skills, with deep understanding of the Internet, developer and platform space
Understanding of Direct Marketing and Lifetime Value models
Strong technical aptitude; programming background a plus!
