THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Looking for your next career move with a hot company? We are looking for a Technical Project Manager at Shazam where you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices and time zones, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will drive schedule and delivery across Shazam's core product, back-end systems and growth. The TPM role will span the full lifecycle of multiple products including planning, development, release and support. On a daily basis you will be responsible for working with a wide variety of internal and/or external customers including software and hardware engineers, product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, technical account managers, ad sales, partners and many colleagues to orchestrate and lead the internal team through many product release cycles. And all the while you will drive the team to scale operations for the future.

You will be responsible for working with product, engineering and QA to define, scope, execute and test changes to the experience along with ensuing the infrastructure changes are made in support of these features.
Working in a mostly Agile environment you need to be comfortable with change as well as enjoy defining the process as it evolves.
Lead multiple products to production through all phases project life cycle.
Examples include: working with product management and engineering on feature lists and schedules, working with service engineering to ensure rollout schedules align with other business priorities, managing milestones and testing.
Ensuring cross-team collaboration.
Timely identification of constraints and potential roadblocks
Advocating trade-offs between scope, schedule, cost, quality.
Experience with geographically distributed teams
5 years experience in managing highly-complex, technically-challenging projects.
Self-starter with ability to conceive of and accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion, must be able to act as a manager, work as individual contributor and to contribute as part of a larger team.
Experience managing remote and local teams.
Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.
Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Deadline and detail-oriented.
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
