THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Houzz is looking for a technical recruiter to help shape our organization by sharing our company's story, vision, culture and technology with the people that will be building our beautiful web site and mobile apps.
We value great sourcing and communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. You should be someone who embeds themselves with teams and is a strong consultative recruiter that holds the candidate experience sacred, but be a hard-nosed recruiter at the core. It's very important to Houzz that we build positive relationships since every candidate is a potential customer and we are committed to treating them respectfully. You should creatively search for qualified candidates, reach out to recruit and network, and penetrate professional, social, start-up, investor and entrepreneurial communities to find the best engineers and designers who want to be part of this industry-changing startup. This position can be full-time or contract.
Desired Skills & Experience:
4-10+ years of mostly technical recruiting experience, preferably with some start-up experience
Strong software recruiting experience, preferably with web apps
Proven experience finding the best technology talent and design in Silicon Valley and beyond
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Friendly/outgoing personality, but able to focus and hold your opinions
Great selling and closing skills
Must be a good team player
Basic coding or other technical experience is a plus
