Are you in the trenches, finding and hiring a high volume of impossible-to-close technical talent? Have you coached and mentored a team of all-star recruiters and sourcers? Are you a strategic, business-minded, number-crunching recruiter who loves to work with engineers? As the manager of the Yelp technical recruiting team, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution and measurement of a plan to find passive candidates for engineering and product roles. Responsibilities
Partner with executives and hiring managers to thoroughly understand the company's hiring goals and plan effectively
Create and execute a strategy to meet aggressive hiring goals, with a focus on proactive sourcing (e.g. social networking, internet research, cold calling, regular networking at technical events & conferences)
Manage efficient, fast-paced full-cycle recruiting operations which support Yelp?s rapid hiring growth
Recruit for high-level technical roles and lead consultative recruiting projects
Branding of Yelp as a place for hardcore engineers to work
Track weekly and quarterly performance of the team, and regularly communicate activity and results
Build, manage, and train a high performing team of in-house/contract recruiters and sourcers
Requirements
A successful track-record of recruiting management (or similar business function) at a leading tech company or previous experience training a high-performing team
Demonstrated experience creating and executing a creative, metrics-driven recruiting strategy
Previous experience as a technical recruiter and sourcer
Solid network of relevant candidates and contract recruiters, and efficient methods of tracking them
Ability to rattle off the relevant social media, conferences, events and recruiting channels that we?ll need to utilize to be successful
Mastery of searching the wild west internet to find top-talent with limited resource support
Passionate interest in cutting-edge technologies, the engineering process, and the latest TechCrunch
Exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-through
Strong written and verbal communication skills with no hesitation of cold calling, networking, and public speaking
Passionate about social media and savvy internet research with active profiles on Yelp, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
A great sense of fun and a relentless can-do attitude
