As the Technical Sales Engineer - Advertising, you'll be is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales technical support across BitTorrent?s innovative product suite for web, mobile and desktop clients.
Specific responsibilities include:
Providing pre- and post-sales technical support across BitTorrent?s innovative product suite for web, mobile, and desktop clients
Reviewing advertiser software to vet partner integrations according to BitTorrent user experience and ad quality standards
Taking ownership of technical implementation of ad tags, SDKs, and other tools across a variety of ad serving and content environments (web, Windows, Mac, Android)
Managing technical production process for advertiser campaign set-up, including software evaluation, production testing, and internal productivity tools
Working cross-functionally to support successful customer and product launches for new innovative advertising initiatives
Staying current with product enhancements and understand the impact to existing and new customers
Providing an outstanding customer experience for all accounts by setting expectations, anticipating, and resolving client technical issues in a timely manner
Demonstrateing a passion for developing and deploying best practice technical sales and support processes in a high-growth, startup environment
Ideal candidates will posses a strong combination of the following experience:
The right person for the role is a strong multi-tasker, exceptionally detail-oriented, and able to move between multiple projects with ease
2+ years of technical sales engineering experience (online advertising)
Some familiarity with programming techniques (HTML/JS web development, XML, Web Services)
Practical exposure to Windows, Unix/Linux, MAC OS X. Mobile OS experience a plus
Native understanding of online media, previous experience working with creative trafficking, campaign management, ad serving technologies (DFP, Atlas, OpenX, etc.), ad networks, ad exchanges, rich media platforms preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Capacity to discuss technical matters with technical and non-technical teams
Must have strong client-facing presence (e.g., product demos, pre-sales support). Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical approach with focus on building partnerships with clients
Bachelor's degree is required; Computer Science major or technical field is preferred
