Description:
To penetrate and achieve established goals in terms of sales, gross margin generation, and specific company initiatives within the heavy equipment market. Accountabilities include revenue and unit growth, innovation, pipeline management, design wins, and relationship excellence. This role works closely with account teams in the organization to drive innovative technical enablement strategies.
Duties:
Building and maintaining trusted technical and executive customer relationships in managed accounts
Cultivate relationships with existing accounts at the strategic purchasing level
Capture and deliver market intelligence, identify threats and develop/implement solutions to win
Prospect for new opportunities in existing client base
Proactively identify and develop growth opportunities in our market
Manage sales through forecasting, account resource requirements, account strategy and planning
Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the customer requirements
Consultative Sales Model: The optimal candidate will take a long-term view of customers and use a ?consultative? approach by deepening their understanding of customer?s business and improve their service to the customers. This will include understanding each customer?s business processes, their buying procedures, their definition of ?customer service?, and identification of key contacts to elevate the relationship.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required; BSME preferred
Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in Engineering Solution Sales and a consistent track record closing various types of contracts
Excellent presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills to include: communication, conflict management and complex contract negotiation
Ability to travel extensively throughout the US
