Technical Sales Engineer Ontuitive

The Technical Sales Engineer operates as a cross-departmental expert, responsible for providing pre- and post-sales technical consultation to key accounts and clients in support of our Sales and the Professional Services teams, and liaising with Product Management.
Develop an in-depth understanding of prospect?s requirements to validate alignment with Ontuitive?s core capabilities and to define technical product scope/timeline, consulting with the Product Management and Professional Services in complex situations.
Develop and deploy ?proof-of-concept? implementations to prospective customers.
Prototype and demonstrate a line of next-generation software, mobile and cloud services products and platforms to prospective and current customers
Assist customers in the integration of Ontuitive?s software into their IT environments and software platforms
Our ideal candidate has the following attributes:
2+ years of experience working in a customer or client-facing role, technical sales capacity, professional services, consulting or business development role
Experience supporting SaaS and on-premise solutions
Technical understand of Microsoft enterprise technologies including Windows Server OS, IIS Server, Active Directory, Lync, Exchange
Technical familiarity with one or more of the following: SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, EMR platforms
Sales demo/training experience especially for new product releases
Experience in analytics, auto-analytics, content management and/or instructional technologies
Advanced technical consulting skills, with the ability to balance competing demands
Precise and efficient communication skills
Proactive, independent and collaborative attitude
Willingness to be part of an agile start-up environment
Located in the metro DC area
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
