Our customers include companies in the Life Sciences industry, Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, Contract Research Organizations, Universities and other publicly funded research institutes. DSI?s headquarters, manufacturing facility and R&D are based in St. Paul, MN, USA . DSI currently has 180 employees worldwide, with regional offices in the USA, Europe (France, Germany, Italy and the UK) and in China.
DSI is seeking an individual to be responsible for the sales of DSI products in Germany, Denmark, Poland and Czech Republic.
The DSI Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving a sales goal and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The main tasks include overall territory management, visiting existing accounts, prospecting new clients, performing need analysis, proposing adequate technical solutions, providing product and software training and routine technical support. Participation in national or European Scientific Conventions and various assignments contributing to the overall European sales team are also expected. The Sales Representative will report to the DSI European Sales manager based in Germany.
After a period of training in our USA headquarters and other European locations, the Sales Representative will work from a home office. Ideal employee location would be in Berlin/Northern Germany. This position requires up to 60% travel. DSI will provide all necessary tools, including fixed and mobile phone services, high-speed internet access and cover all travel related expenses.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors or Master?s Degree in biomedical engineering, biological science or related medical/scientific field experience considered. Additional Degree or training in Sales&Marketing desirable.
3 years experience, preferably in a sales or marketing position in the Life Sciences business. Other experience working in the Life Science industry can be a substitute.
Computer competency in MS Office and use of CRM program.
Fluent English and German both written and spoken. Other languages a plus.
Ability to work independently from a home office environment.
