Technical Service Delivery Manager mPortal
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED mPortal is looking for an experienced Technical Service Delivery Manager for our Atlanta office. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing multiple mobile software development projects; providing updates to the customer and our internal teams; and managing risk across those projects. As a customer facing resource for meetings, brainstorming sessions, as well as internal meetings with other mPortal teams, you will have the opportunity to drive usage and follow-on sales of mPortal products and services. The Technical Service Delivery Manager will actively manage software development and testing teams both on-shore and off-shore, and will be expected to manage multiple work streams in a hands-on manner.
In addition to project management capabilities, this position requires an outstanding grasp of software development and technologies. The successful candidate is expected to lead and participate in technical discussions related to software delivery, and should be willing to take full accountability for the projects? outcome. Maturity, judgment, negotiation skills, influence and leadership skills are all essential.

Evangelize mPortal?s products and services to drive usage and follow-on sales
Lead the development of proposals and RF(x) responses for new opportunities
Develop high level expertise concerning the customer?s technical systems, architectures, and business processes
Provide clear input to product team about customer needs and business problems, offering solutions for their portfolio
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
8+ years of project management experience
Significant experience in both developing and managing development of iOS, Android and/or web applications
Significant experience with Agile/RAD type environments
Ability to work with teams in multiple locations (both in the US and off-shore)
Highly effective communicator. Written, verbal and presentation skills are of a high standard
Possess the ability to analyze requirements and propose appropriate solutions
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Understanding of wireless content discovery and delivery systems is a plus
Previous experience with large software development consulting companies is a plus
