Successful candidate will work as a member of an implementation team, collaborate with customers on scope of work documents and communicate technical concepts verbally and in written format using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Project Software. Daily tasks might include collecting user requirements; implement, configure and test our solution at the customer?s facility; customize Empirix products to meet the customer?s business requirements; creating/implementing custom data monitors for the purpose of gathering and displaying customer specific information; performing end-to-end testing of all aspects of the customer?s communications application.
Responsibilities:
Set customer expectations and meet them in the agreed upon schedule
Present technical information to small groups
Provide instruction on the Hammer System and script utilization
Continuous training on new technologies
Work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work on-site at customer locations for prolonged periods of time
Problem solving in a solutions based environment
Hands on utilization of the code; Java coding utilizing our Virtual Agent technology
Travel up to 70%
Required Skills:
Familiarity with telephony concepts
Experience with Java programming (or other language)
Background in web applications (DHTML and forms a must, applets and AJAX a plus)
Strong knowledge of HTTP
Experience with various Call Center technologies including IVRs, CTI, Speech Applications, ACD, etc?
Familiarity with Eclipse IDE a plus
Travel Requirements: 50% - 70%
