We are currently seeking a Technical Services Director for Americas
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Technical Services Director for Americas to successfully drive our Professional Service business including our Consulting and Systems Deliveries. The chosen individuals will have the responsibility to develop and grow our Professional Service business to enable the growth of DDN's Products, Solutions and Services business. This position can be Remote, located ANYWHERE in the US.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
?Manage key customer relationships at executive and senior management levels.
?Manage overall professional services budgets, revenue and profit targets.
?Align with the Sales and Presales teams ensuring effective execution.
?Being the escalation point for all projects with responsibility for overall project deliverables and quality.
?Ensure the team effectively manages projects in alignment with the DDN Project Management methodology, tools and processes.
?Responsible for managing the billing, revenue productivity and margin for their team.
?Responsible for the forecasting Professional Services business.
?Ensure customer success through rapid high-quality implementations run by the team.
?Responsible for customer satisfaction metrics.
?Develop an effective network of partners for delivery across the region.
?Implement and utilize services best practices & process improvement to increase services capability, and driving increased revenue and profitability to support business goals.
?Ensuring project teams adhere to project resource budgets, and meet deliverables and timelines.
?Ensuring project teams efficiently allocate project resources and manage scope changes.
?Being responsible for leading professional service team members through mentoring and training for continued performance improvement.
?Develop strategies to ensure a flex force capability in delivery.
?Working closely with WW Support to ensure that all projects are transitioned effectively from delivery to Support and that customers are receiving world-class support.
?Collaborate with WW Support to ensure that DDN support is effective and efficient across AMS.
?Collaborate with the WW PMO/PS lead to ensure the portfolio of professional service offerings are tuned for your region.
?Work with sales to identify and secure consulting opportunities for DDN that accelerate the DDN capability to be a trusted advisor to our customers for Big Data.
?Work closely with the WW head of solutions to maximize leverage with key application partners in our Solutions Labs.
?Work closely with the sales team to optimize both attach and renewal rates of Professional Service.
Qualifications for this role are:
?Technical education (BS, MS) preferred 10-15 years of consulting/management experience.
?5 years managing project teams to deliver successful large scale software and hardware implementations.
?Experience in the high performance computing, and storage sectors.
?Proven ability to manage a regional service P&L.
?Successful Professional Services manager.
?Strong pre-sales, professional services and solutions understanding.
?Ability to excel in a team environment.
?Demonstrated creative problem solving ability.
?Strong oral and written communication skills.
?Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, develop and retain employees.
?Strong people and leadership management skills.
?Experience in working across the Americas.
