Technical Services Manager Aravo Solutions
Aravo is looking for a resource who will be a combination of an individual contributor and front-line manager, initially focusing more on the completion of customer integrations and then focusing more on the management aspects of the role once he or she is fully versed on Aravo implementation and as the team expands. The technical services team is responsible for web-services integrations of supplier information between Aravo and customer's enterprise systems as well as customer report development using Jasper and Micro-Strategy. However, we feel that the integration background is most critical for this role, as the report development is a secondary responsibility of the team.
Job Requirements
Minimum of two years of team leadership experience
Minimum of five years of experience working with data integration or other technical portions of software delivery implementations
Proven success in a pre-sales setting including the following:
Ability to accurately estimate integration and reporting effort for inclusion in a statement of work based on high level requirements
Ability to inspire customer confidence in a pre-sales solutioning discussion by phone or in person
Management experience including the following:
Ability to interact cross-departmentally to keep other departments informed and advocate for customer needs
Timesheet review and approval
Training new team members
Managing off-shore and on-shore, partner and in-house resources including hiring, firing and performance management
Delegating effectively while still maintaining visibility into work quality and efficiency
Motivating employee retention
Successful project management experience including the following:
Participation in detailed solutioning meetings
Driving a customer towards best practices and keeping solutions within scope
Creation of solution documentation
Delegation of project tasks to technical team members
Working closely with Customer and Aravo project managers and customer technical team
Following Agile methodology or another similar software development lifecycle
Driving a clear, thorough and well documented testing process including unit testing, end to testing and customer UAT
Documenting and processing project artifacts such as meeting minutes, sign off documents and change requests.
Qualifications
Experience with integration between SAAS platforms and between a SAAS platform and customer's enterprise business sytems (Oracle, SAP, EAI, ESB's)
Experience using Boomi or a similar SAAS based integration middleware provider
Experience with web services technologies such as
SOAP or other XML based web services
RESTful web services
JAVA
J2EE
Ability to accurately discuss relative merits and implementation factors related to public key encryption, symmetric ciphers, and encryption containers such as PGP or X.509.
Some familiarity with networking concepts such as VPN's, certificate based authentication, routing
Experience with data transformation from customer enterprise system to xml based formats
Ability to manage resources who are creating customer reports using Jasper and MicroStrategy
