Technical Support Engineer
(Irvine, CA) - BeyondTrust, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Technical Support team. If desired and qualified, a successful candidate can eventually transition into a Field Security Engineer.
As a member of the BeyondTrust Support team, the Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
Respond to customer product tickets daily
Provide troubleshooting and debugging of customer problems
Provide phone support to all accounts
Manage customer communication and expectations
Escalate necessary items to Engineering for resolution
Provide communication flow between the customer and Development, Sales and Field Security teams
Position Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelors degree preferred in a related technical field
3+ years in enterprise software customer support
Proficient knowledge of windows based server OS such as Windows Server/SQL Server
Knowledge of the following:
SQL Connectivity and Permissions
Basic SQL Scripting
Active Directory, and GPO Heretical standards
Network Topology/Layers
Networking Tools
AV/Firewall Rule and Reactions
Secure ?machine to machine? communications
Linux Server communication tools
Virtualization
Windows Account Administration
Security software
