Technical Support Engineer Knowledge Management Solutions
KMSI is looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a highly technical team. Qualified candidates must have had direct relevant experience in application support, and the ability to quickly come up to speed on complex Web-based technologies. Prior experience in web application development is also desired. Previous experience supporting customers is essential. Tech Support engineers are responsible for the post-deployment support of KMSI's flagship product KMx Enterprise both in our hosting facility and behind the customer's firewall. You will provide second-line support to customers, as well as technical assistance to remote implementation teams working on customer engagements.
Support activities start when customers file Help Desk tickets. A Tech Support engineer is assigned to work on a ticket, will contact customer representatives, and will work through all the steps leading to a solution including, replication, investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and deployment. Throughout the process, the engineer will interact with customers, product development engineers, and other tech support personnel.
