Technical Support Engineer DiagnosisONE

DiagnosisOne is seeking Technical Support Engineers who will help support our customer base as well as our development team. This is not a position where you are only taking customer calls and assigning them to others; you will be working with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve the issues.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot problems reported by customers and help solve technical issues
Answer questions from customers and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of our solutions
Develop customer-facing documentation for our solutions on an as-needed basis
Communicate customer needs and wishes to our development and engineering staff
Log and track customer issues, and communicate status back to the customer
Address issues resulting from application monitoring to ensure system availability
Work in highly secure environments
Required Skills/Knowledge
Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the web-based applications
Experience working with enterprise systems such as WebLogic, Jboss, Oracle and SQL Server
Experience in Java, C# and ASP.Net technologies; working with web services a plus
Knowledge of relation databases (SQL Server, Oracle) a huge plus
Background as a developer or SQA a definite plus
Excellent troubleshooting ability in a Microsoft Windows environment. Experience working in a SaaS environment a plus.
The ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a customer problem or question and help them solve it
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong organization skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
Desired Skills/Knowledge
Working knowledge of SharePoint
Experience working in Healthcare IT
Knowledge of HL7 and XML
Experience with high-availability systems
