The Telerik team is growing and we are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Waltham, MA, San Diego, CA, and Hudson, OH. As a member of the team you will be the link between the customers and the various product teams at Telerik while addressing client's technical inquiries. Relying on your background with ASP.NET technologies and past experience in client facing roles, your main duty will be to provide timely support to customers and members of the sales team through our online ticketing system, email, or over the phone. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly solve problems that involve a broad range of technical skills with an emphasis in .NET essentials and an in-depth knowledge of Telerik's products.
If you were a part of our team, here are some of the things you would have done last week as a Technical Support Engineer:
? Provided rapid pre-purchase technical assistance and answers to clients and the sales team by answering support tickets via an online ticketing system and phone
? Created brief, focused, technical videos covering features and usage of Telerik tools
? Supported the Telerik sales process with technical product webinars
? Assisted the product teams with blog posts highlighting unique uses of Telerik tools in projects
? Worked on code projects that support internal needs, and help you become a master of Telerik tools and a solid Microsoft .NET professional
? Acted as a liaison between clients and the product development teams, by providing client feedback and product requests to the development teams
? Researched competing products and produced insightful competitive information for the marketing team
You will be the person who has (a):
? Technical background in web related technologies (preferably ASP.NET)
? Programming experience with C#, VB.NET, and/or JavaScript
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or relevant field
? Excellent communication skills: listening, written, verbal
? Previous background in a technical customer-oriented job will be considered highly advantageous, but is not required
? Exceptional ability to learn new skills
? Down-to-earth, creative, driven and friendly personality
