Technical Support Internship (unpaid, for course credit) HydroPoint Data Systems

This internship is designed to give the qualified candidate experience supporting HydroPoint's smart irrigation product lines in both simple and complex irrigation installations while working with a world-class customer service organization.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support on controller settings, hardware and field issues
- Review product documentation and training materials
- Perform related duties as required
Requirements:
- Have a junior/senior college-level standing in business administration, environmental studies, irrigation design or related field
- Possess knowledge, or ability to learn, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent analytical abilities
- He/she should be a creative, independent worker, who is well-organized and dependable
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Enjoy detail work where high degree of accuracy is required
- Enjoy the environment of a small, fast-paced organization
- Have an interest in water resource and water conservation field
- Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred
- Experience with irrigation systems or horticulture is a big plus
