Technical Support Representative M5 Networks

We seek exceptional, highly organized, bright, and outgoing Technical Support Representatives to serve as the voice of the company to our existing clients. Previous Customer Service experience is required.
This is a highly promoteable role, with the opportunity to take part in M5s career path development program leading to networking, operations, project management, or sales positions.
Responsibilities:
- Handling first-line incoming telephone and e-mail requests from customers regarding products and services
- Troubleshooting of IP phone and network problems, escalating difficult issues as needed
- Tracking activities through an internal ticket logging system
- Working on special projects as assigned to improve a growing departments quality and efficiency
- Our live Support operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am until 8pm EDT. We are currently looking for individuals to cover all of our shifts.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Commitment to setting proper expectations for clients, following through as necessary to remain trustworthy
Ability to demonstrate competence in basic PC software and hardware. Cisco and Networking experience is preferred
Ability and personality to put clients at ease in stressful situations
Precise and effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a closely-monitored environment where calls are recorded, quality of work is reviewed and evaluated to ensure the highest level of customer support for our clients
Independent thinking and troubleshooting
Ability to work closely with team members to share information and add to the companys knowledgebase
Enthusiasm and adaptability, able to acquire new skills and knowledge quickly
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Previous VoIP experience is an advantage, but is not mandatory
