TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST Global Market Insite

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist to be responsible for providing tier 1 & 2 desktop support, tier 1 enterprise application support, and user administration for 60+ professionals in Bellevue and 700+ staff members worldwide. This position will manage reported user incidents, monitor critical system health, coordinate end-user notifications for system outages, and maintain technical documentation. The position will also work on IT related projects, both as part of a team and individually.
Guide users to following accepted IT policies and procedures.
Provide email, phone, and in-person support to diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escalate issues.
Maintaining end user productivity by managing the Desktop Lifecycle within the enterprise, including:
Deployments ? Maintain, update, and deploy Windows 7 image onto desktops/laptops
Updates ? Keep end user hardware, applications, and security current to accepted standards.
Troubleshooting ? Manage end user hardware and software incidents and work them through to resolution.
Purchasing ? Manage procurements of hardware, software, and peripherals, as well as assisting in identifying, evaluating, and recommending new desktop and application technologies.
Asset management ? Maintain hardware, software, user, and location deployment information.
Provide Tier-1 support and user administration for Enterprise applications and systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation, training guides, etc.
Monitor and validate critical business systems, both within normal business hours, and on occasion outside of normal business hours.
Plan and execute end user related IT projects within the IT team.
Office moves, meeting setups, printer support, etc.
Technical degree or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience troubleshooting and resolving Windows desktop support issues for hardware, software, and operating systems.
2-4 years of experience creating, maintaining, and deploying Windows images.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proven ability to build & maintain relationships with co-workers, customers, & vendors.
Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Able to work outside of normal business hours when required.
Able to lift 20 lbs.
