Description:Passport Health Communications, Inc., a nationally recognized pioneer developing innovative solutions for the healthcare industry and one of Healthcare Informatics Top 100 Healthcare Companies, is seeking multiple Technical Support Specialist to join our Franklin, TN Customer & Technical Support teams.
Primarily responsible for providing telephone and email support to our external clients, as well as internal departments.
Duties:?Provide outstanding Client Software support ? bugs, defects, malfunctions
?Respond to routine and emergency support calls from clients
?Adhere to departmental policies and escalation procedures
?Communicate effectively with clients via telephone or email
?Log all calls into Customer Support Client Tracking System
?Participate in after-hours on-call rotation schedule
?Maintain proficient knowledge of all product and service changes
?Perform other related duties as requested
Other Duties as Required.
Qualifications:?Associates or Bachelor?s degree preferred, but not required
?1-2 years experience specific to technical analysis of healthcare transaction data, customer support
?1-2 years experience specific to customer support for end users specific to software issues such as username, password resets, etc
Healthcare experience in the following environments preferred:
oPhysician/Hospital Billing
oInsurance or Clearinghouse
oHospital Admitting or Business Office
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
PC, Internet and Microsoft Office experience is a must
