Description:Passport Health Communications, Inc., a nationally recognized pioneer developing innovative solutions for the healthcare industry and one of Healthcare Informatics Top 100 Healthcare Companies, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join the Wayne, PA location.
The Technical Support Specialist is primarily responsible for providing excellent telephone and email support to our external clients, as well as internal departments.
Duties:?Provide outstanding Client support ? questions, troubleshooting bugs, defects, malfunctions
?Communicate effectively with clients via telephone or email
?Respond to routine and emergency support issues from clients
?Maintain proficient knowledge of all product and service changes
?Adhere to departmental security and privacy policies
?Effectively utilize the escalation process
?Efficiently manage pending issues
?Log all interactions/activities into Customer Support Client Tracking System
?Perform other related duties as requested
Other Duties as Required.
Qualifications:College Degree ? preferred
Healthcare experience in the following environments preferred:
?Insurance or Clearinghouse
?Hospital Admitting or Business Office
Support/Call Center experience preferred
?High Volume Customer Interaction
?Ability to manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
PC, Internet and Microsoft Office experience is a must
Communication/networking familiarity is a plus
Exposure to ICD-9 Codes and Diagnoses is not required but definitely a plus
HDI Certification helpful
