Technical Trainer I/II (DOE) - Provisioning Integra Telecom

The Technical Trainer I/II - Provisioning is responsible for identifying, developing, facilitating and/or coordinating training programs in support of the Provisioning Departments training needs. Training will include but not be limited to systems training and new hire training primarily for Service Delivery. This position supports the Company?s overall training effort to ensure availability and consistency of training programs in a cost effective manner.
?Consults with appropriate stakeholders within departments and business units regarding training needs to meet business objectives.
?Develops new programs and instructional materials, which may have impact across the Company or multiple business units.
?These programs include classroom, self-paced, SME led and online.
?Partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
?Selects appropriate training aids and mediums.
?Prepares lesson plans relevant to training material.
?Ensures that programs are integrated an aligned with existing or anticipated programs and department/company goals.
?Develops implementation strategies to ensure that training initiatives are met.
?Develops tools to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
?Including gathering feedback and evaluating progress of current training programs to help provide assistance for new program development.
?Work in partnership with other departments on training, documentation and other related projects.
?Creates and maintains effective training marketing strategies.
?Maintains central depository of training materials and interface for employees.
?Travel to markets to train as needed. 20% or less.
Requirements?BA/BS degree or equivalent education and experience in a technical or training/education field or equivalent area.
?Experience which demonstrates skill in the design, development and delivery of adult training programs.
?At least four years of hands on experience in the telecommunications industry which demonstrates a working knowledge of the Integra job functions supported by the training area required.
?Proficiency in the use of personal computers and associated software including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
?History of rapidly gaining expertise in complex processes, systems and technology. Strong organizational skills demonstrating the ability to select and manage projects and perform work independently in a high pressure/fast paced atmosphere.
?At least 3 years of hands on experience using Integra Systems.
