Technical Trainer - Professional Services SevOne

The SevOne Professional Services team is tasked with delivering superior training sessions for our customers and partners on the SevOne industry leading technology as well as delivering custom consultation engagements. The Education Services team is focused on creating and delivering training materials, creating and maintaining certification examinations, and liaising with development and the field to ensure that student feedback is considered in by key SevOne decision makers.
The Professional Services Technical Trainer will be primary office based (SevOne?s Delaware head quarters or a remote office). However, at times the Technical Trainer may be required to deliver on site training. If this location is not in the same locale as the main office then travel will be required.
The main responsibility of the Technical Trainer is developing and delivering training in to the SevOne product set in accordance with the process defined and direction from the Director of Professional Services, and to provide on-going technical product support to the teams (SevOne, customer, or partner) receiving the training.
Other responsibilities include:
Coaching & mentoring in the operation of SevOne products and utilities
Providing guidance and assistance in installation & configuration of SevOne integrations
Creating a web based / remote delivery model for SevOne training
Accurately capturing and defining requirements and relaying these to SevOne Product Management.
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for ensuring that their assigned projects are developed to plan and the timescales agreed. As such, they will need to regularly communicate their progress. They are also responsible for proactively identifying and communicating any issue that arises through the project.
Bachelors degree in computer related subject or able to demonstrate equivalent work experience
Strong Unix (Linux)
Networking & Internetworking
The ability to pick up new technologies quickly
Experience/Knowledge of the SevOne PAS (vPAS) Highly Desirable
Administration level Unix knowledge
Knowledge of presentation tools (MS-PowerPoint or Apple Keynote)
The ability to run training sessions/workshops on specific topics
