Technical Trainer MobileAccess Networks

The Technical Trainer will report to the Training Manager and is responsible for developing and delivering instructor led technical training to Value Added Resellers (VARs), partners, customers, and integrators. The technical trainer will deliver training at customer sites, and Corning MobileAccess offices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Platform and webinar based training delivery.
Course Development.
Certification development and administration.
E-Learning and tutorial development.
Interfacing with customers, VARs/Partners, RF Design, Product Management, and Tech Support as needed to successfully develop course material.
Provide training to Carriers/VARs with focus on Corning MobileAccess equipment configurations and recommended RF design practices.
Editing Corning MobileAccess User Manuals.
Participating as an active team member of the Corning MobileAccess Services group, specific responsibilities include:
Working with other team members as needed to create professional course material.
Working with sales representatives to address customer and VAR concerns in a timely manner.
Promoting the companys products and services to partners and customers.
Education/Experience Required:
Must possess sterling platform skills and have a demonstrated track record of ensuring high levels of student retention.
Background in Wireless/Mobility/Cellular networks and/or Networking/Internetworking devices, protocols and operating systems.
Experience designing and delivering compelling course material.
A demonstrated ability to learn new products/technologies.
A minimum of 5 years of course development experience using the ADDIE model (or equivalent).
Understanding of a variety of wireless technologies such as GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, 802.11, etc.
BS or equivalent required.
Five to ten years training delivery experience.
Five to ten years experience with a technical hardware manufacturing company.
