The Technical Training Manager is a technical expert on Caradigm solutions and responsible for the development of curriculum plans and learning content for instructor-led and online training programs delivered to Internal, Customer and Partner audiences. Candidates must be able to rapidly acquire deep technical understanding of the solutions, intended use cases and deployment environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to deliver the curricula to technical and non-technical audiences through formal presentations, demonstrations and the facilitation of virtual classroom events. Additionally the Technical Training Manager will re-invest their direct experiences with the target audiences into the technical learning programs through collaboration with instructional designers and program managers to create relevant and timely online training courses, labs and other materials.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Training Content Development
- Owns the development and execution of technical curriculum plans needed to train Customers, Partners and all impacted internal Caradigm team members (i.e.: Services & Engineering)
- Work independently to acquire knowledge of product features from documentation and development specifications
- Develop a deep understanding of product features and tools by working through implementation and application development scenarios in a virtual machine
- Organize and present technical features to technical and non-technical learners
- Work with Engineering, Services and Documentation teams to understand product features
- Work with Services and Support teams to understand how product features are implemented and supported
- Validate training content created by others
- Collaborate with instructional designers and program managers to create learning objects such as presentation materials, facilitator guides, student guides, online labs and courses
? Training Delivery
- Facilitate monthly virtual classroom events
- Engage with learners through discussion forums
- Deliver on premise classroom instruction using a lecture/lab format
- Maintain virtual lab environments
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Strong programming experience with JavaScript, Java, Java Bean Shell, and XML as well as familiarity with common user interface control constructs including .NET, Windows Presentation Forms, etc.
? Competent using SQL Server Management Studio for managing databases and writing TSQL queries
? Working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory Services and VDI infrastructures
? Training skills and background preferred
? Healthcare IT background and expertise with clinical applications preferred
? Occasional travel to customer sites may be required
