Job Summary:
The role will be based at our manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, PA with some time spent at our pilot manufacturing plant in Pittsburgh for the training period.
The Technical Writer will have responsibility for writing, editing and maintaining Aquion Energy Manufacturing Documentation including, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Maintenance Procedures etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures
Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Maintenance Procedures and other projects as needed
Working closely with the Technical Engineering team and on the manufacturing floor with Technicians and operators to document Aquion Energy Manufacturing Best Practice
Maintain integrity of the documentation contained within the Aquion energy PLM system
Pre-checking documents and drawings before sending them for detailed review
Coordinate the production of released documentation and disseminating it through the organization
Qualifications:
Experience in Technical writing
Clear concise written communication style
Experience editing preferred
Minimum 2 year degree, scientific or technical field preferred
Experience with content management systems preferred
Experience with PLM or other document management systems preferred
