We are not your average software company, so we're not looking for the average Technical Writer. We are developing an 'outside of the box' software package and need a sharp writer to give it a voice. This person will be responsible for writing user guides, online help, software and website content, among many other things. If you are looking for a place to take your creative abilities and channel them in an exciting way, then this is the role for you!What you'll do
Create user friendly, easy to follow technical documentation for SendGrid's platform and services
Work with engineers to gather technical information and produce programming guides, API references and other technical documents used both internally and by the SendGrid development community
About you
3+ years of experience producing technical documents for software development
Experience writing content to help with brand development: blogging, social media
Experience writing content for a website or software application where you've interfaced with technical people and developers
A passion for technology
An appreciation for being part of a fast-paced startup environment
A relentless passion for creating industry leading products and the highest quality user experiences
Comfortable creating HTML documents and familiarity with CSS and javascript is a bonus
Experience with Git a plus
