Technical Writer (Contract) Omneon, Inc.

We have an immediate need for a contract writer to create documentation for an exciting hardware and software product being developed in our Beaverton, Oregon office.
The contract is for 3 - 4 months full time. You will be required to work closely with the development and QA team, onsite in Beaverton, at least four days per week. You will use FrameMaker 9 or later, Acrobat 9, Captivate 5, and Illustrator CS5 to deliver succinctly written PDFs, a well illustrated installation poster which will be printed hardcopy, and a few simple tutorials on key product functionality.
An understanding of video technologies, IP networking, and graphics authoring will be helpful when working on this contract.
