As a tech writer at DeNA, you will take complex concepts and communicate them clearly to a global audience of mobile app developers. With your understanding of programming languages like C/C++, Java, and JavaScript, you will read source code and write code examples. You will gather technical information and produce programming guides, API references, and other technical documents. Juggling multiple projects and driving their successful and timely completion is your forte.You will work across teams to collect information, distill and clarify this information, and produce complete documentation that is both easy to follow and easy to use. You are passionate about technology, social gaming, social networks; you welcome technical challenges; you strive to develop industry-leading products that create a great developer experience. As a technical writer, you will:
Design and organize documentation sets for new and existing APIs, SDKs, and/or development frameworks
Edit comments in source code and write your own sample code
Run software builds, validate API documentation by writing test code
Be proficient with command line tools
Switch easily from conversing in engineering tech speak to explaining complex ideas in simple terminology for a non-tech audience
Excel at working in a dynamic and distributed environment
Collaborate across teams to achieve consensus
Have 3-5 years of experience producing technical documents for software development
Be comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Have strong communication and time management skills?the ability to balance high-quality work standards against time constraints.
