Clinicient, the leading SaaS platform for managing all aspects of the business of Outpatient Rehabilitation, has an opportunity for a Technical Writer who enjoys making the complex, simple and wants to work in a fast paced, growing, team oriented environment.
As a key member of the Product Management team, the technical writer will be responsible for planning and deploying a documentation strategy that drives customer success when using Clinicient software and services. The ideal candidate will use their proven experience explaining web-based software to create and maintain technical documentation materials that take complex concepts and make them easy to understand and follow.
Continuity and follow-through will be key measures of success. The right candidate is customer focused and gets energy from problem solving and teaming with others on projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Write end-user documentation, including training materials, knowledgebase articles, FAQs, online tutorials and reference guides, that engages clients and enables their understanding and successful use of the Clinicient platform
Participate in all aspects of documentation and training development from product planning through product release, meeting tight delivery timelines with quality deliverables
Deliver a Clinicient self-support portal experience that users consistently rate as a strength of our platform. Build broad adoption of the portal materials within our organization by engaging the organization in the development and use of the tools.
Gather documentation requirements, interview subject matter experts and demonstrate detailed Clinicient product knowledge, so that you become a trusted expert on the functioning of Clinicient?s platform to our internal users within 6 months.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Proven ability to convey technical processes to non-technical users in written form.
Superior attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Willingness to take initiative and be accountable for your own work
Ability to identify problems and gain alignment on solution
Working knowledge of writing styles, web standards, and Microsoft Office required. Dynamics CRM, Camtasia, Adobe Publishing Suite, Joomla, Photoshop, and Snagit a plus
