Will be responsible for supporting engineering efforts with respect to vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers. Will work closely with Applications engineers, the Automotive Business team and partners business/engineering teams. Will perform testing on HD Radio modules, radios and automotive systems. These tests may be located in customer?s facilities, our laboratories or in the field. Position will require driving test vehicles and travel (domestically and possibly internationally).
Must be able to function with minimal direct supervision and shall be capable of making tactical decisions without direct input from supervision.
Must be able to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical personnel.
Must be able to use test equipment such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, logic analyzers, audio analysis tools, network analyzers and other lower level test equipment.
Must be able to read, and analyze schematics.
Must be able to operate computers in a command line environment.
Must be able to document test results, prepare reports and presentations for use by management and partners.
Must be knowledgeable in and comprehend the principles of digital logic, digital communications, RF design and RF communications.
Must be able to solder, disassemble and assemble mechanical items with the use of basic hand and power tools.
Must be familiar with running tests in a LabView environment
Must have five years relevant experience.
LabView programming skills are a plus. Fluency in Japanese, Korean or Chinese language is a plus. May be required to provide technical support for expositions, shows, dealer meetings, conferences, etc. May be required to perform additional testing on lower level components to verify the performance of iBiquity developed software.
