We are developing cutting-edge technology to convert conventional vehicles into hybrids to reduce fuel consumption and to generate a compelling return on investment for fleet customers. Job Description:
Since XL Hybrids is a start-up, joining our team means that you will have a wide scope of work, and your growth potential is practically limitless. As our technician, you will:
? Preassemble automotive hybrid components and subsystems, and conduct quality control
? Perform vehicle mechanical and electrical repair work
? Troubleshoot electronic subsystems and vehicle electrical systems
? Build and repair wire harnesses and cables
? Construct and debug test fixtures
? Assist in debug of electronic modules
? Support pilot and commercial launch of hybrid systems
? Support engineering development work
Required Skills:
? Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and electronics a plus
? Mechanical and electronics fabrication skills
? Ability to independently carry out job assignments. The candidate should be able to describe work accomplishments or concerns through effective verbal and written communications
? Experience using electronic test equipment, soldering, and wiring. Comfort with integrated circuitry
? Excellent teamwork skills while working under pressure
? Motivated, eager to face new challenges provided by a startup company in a new field,
? Ability to manage multiple tasks
? Proficient computer skills
? Electric vehicle high voltage experience or training
Education:
AS or BS degree in automotive or electronics technology or commensurate military training
