DescriptionsTechnical support of Manufacturing Engineering on Products and Processes for Integrated Optical modules.Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform optical alignment / module assembly and module performance test. Support engineers with optical experiments, collect and record the experimental data.
Help train operators, improve and maintain high first pass yield.
Monitor the process, perform optimization analysis and evaluations.
Minimum Required Competencies
High school degree is necessary. A BS degree in optics, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
3+ years of experience in fiber optics or related industry.
Must have a basic optical/mechanical background.
Basic optical knowledge and alignment technique , Handle delicate parts with patience and skill.
Experience in training assembly workers on manufacturing procedures
Must have a solid CAD/CAM design and mechanical drawing background.
Basic computer knowledge.
Familiar with various types of fiber optic test equipment and tools.
Excellent analytical and technical skills in problem solving.
Independent, reliable, self motivated, and results oriented.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
