Job Summary: The Telecommunications Consultant is a critical role in delivering fixed TEM (Telecom Expense Management) services to clients and ensuring successful client experiences that are consistent with Movero?s high standards. The Telecommunications Consultant will work with the client Account Relationship Manager and Operations team members to ensure the client is utilizing the most efficient fixed telecom network, yielding maximum savings opportunities and improving their operational processes. In addition, this role will help support field sales team members as a Wire line expert during new sales opportunities.
Position Description/Responsibilities:
Deliver lowest cost of ownership for telecommunication products and services
Lead Telecom Contract and Vendor Management activities
Facilitate strategic business discussions with the client related to telecommunications services
Consult with client decision makers, partners, and vendors
Perform voice/data/LD operational reviews
Identify efficiencies, savings opportunities and improved operational processes
Research and provide technology solution(s) to meet business objectives
Gather service provider information supporting technology solution
Conduct detail cost analysis and modeling
Benchmark service provider data
Define optimized wire line solutions based on business needs and carrier research
Prepare and present optimized telecom proposal to C level/decision maker
Negotiate Service Provider purchase agreements (including SLA language) supporting the client?s technology and financial needs
Ongoing Service Provider management, issue management, billing escalation and resolutions, service planning, etc?
Lead and facilitate client RFQ, RFI, and RFPs supporting telecommunications needs
Shared responsibility with the Account Relationship Manager for Client Retention, Client Growth, and Client Satisfaction
Qualifications/Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong competitive attitude demonstrated with a high degree of self motivation and exceptional work ethic
Good organizational and time management skills
Exceptional proposal and presentation skills
10+ years experience in Voice, Data, Network, and Long Distance
10+ years experience in negotiations at the C level
10+ years experience in vendor/contract management
