Job Description
To take responsibility for lead generation and other activities to promote Clearswift?s products and services across the US region in vertical markets such as Defence, Government, Finance & Banking, Utilities and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound cold calling to generate and qualify new quality leads for both new customers and in installed base for the sales force to close. High focus on new business
To engage in end2end Teleselling programmes selling products over the phone to both our customers & prospect base
Support all marketing activity by follow up lead generation
Identify areas of need within various business types, profile and understand the decision making process
Support exhibition, seminar and open day activity by generating attendees to the events
Qualify all inbound marketing leads, and mature them to a high quality opportunity for sales to close
Work in line with the company?s lead and opportunity criteria. BANT Score process
Follow the lead pass out process
Support ongoing verification, cleansing and validation of our database
Ensure maximum coverage of the market place by high productivity performance
Work to targets based on productivity and end result
Support all KPI?s
Maintain a good prospect lead level necessary to support the growing business
Maintain a good solid corporate level of knowledge both in-house and competitive
Represent Clearswift in a professional and ethical manner complying with policies and processes
Essential Skills
Fluent written and verbal skills in English essential
Excellent telephone skills and manner, with clarity of verbal communication and confidence
Excellent listening skills are essential
Ability to establish rapport, show empathy and build strong relationships instantly over the phone. (essential)
This position is telephone based, so requires long hours on the phone during the working day. So self motivation is essential
Good PC skills including database use required
Team orientated
Emotionally robust and results orientated
Enthusiastic, positive, tenacious and disciplined, able to follow through on actions over a period of time
Qualifications
B2B experience preferred
High tech or enterprise software experience a plus but not essential
2-3 years Telemarketing or Teleselling environment preferred (minimum 1-2 years)
Experience of salesforce.com is an advantage

Self-starter and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
