Summary Description
Telesales representative will represent the company directly to prospects and customers. They must have a complete understanding of products and services and the ability to showcase benefits to influence potential business transactions. Working in the call center and using the telephone and other available media, the telesales representative performs lead qualification, receives and manages inbound calls from prospects, and makes outbound calls to generate leads and/or sell these solutions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Sells solutions over the phone to qualified prospects that meet specific criteria
Performs outbound calling to qualify existing leads and to generate new leads and opportunities
Receives inbound telephone and email leads and qualifies them
Manages leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com
Describe the company and solution features and benefits to prospects
Ask relevant questions to understand the client?s needs
Determine which solutions are appropriate for any given client, based upon the client?s needs
Persuade prospect to set an appointment to move the sales process forward
Gather and document information about the prospect
Enter data into Salesforce.com or other information systems
Education Requirements
Minimum education: BS/BA
Work Experience
3-5 years? experience required
Skills
Experience in telesales, call center, customer service, or telemarketing
Energetic and professional with excellent verbal skills
Ability to persuade and influence others over the phone
Proficiency with MS Office, web browsers, and customer database software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
