The Temporary Studio Product Coordinator is responsible for unpacking and packing all sample merchandise prior and post shoot. The successful candidate will partner with the creative team by providing sample merchandise for daily photo shoots and tracking the location of merchandise accordingly. This person will also track merchandise checked out for a variety of other reasons, including public relations events. The Studio Product Coordinator must maintain full control of samples coming in and out of the warehouse and shall enforce policies and procedures as needed.
This position is based in our Brooklyn Navy Yard location. It is a temporary 3 month position with the possibility of additional 3 month extensions based on performance. (30 hours a week)
Prep and put away photo shoot samples and notify Sales Operations and the Creative teams if styles/looks are not available
Coordinate sample delivery with the Sales Operations team and manage disposition of samples following photo shoot
Pull and track samples as requested for PR, special events, etc.
Ensure that all items that need to go to the dry cleaner after a shoot are giving to the Quality Control team.
Move samples to sellable inventory (if suitable) as soon as items are returned from the Merchandise Product Coordinator
Notify departments if items are not returned
Tracking exceptions that needed to be made
Enforce processes and systems procedures
? Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
? Basic knowledge of inventory systems
? Data entry experience requested, but not required
? Professional phone skills and written/verbal communication skills
? Effective problem solving, organizational and prioritization skills
? Multi-tasking, accurate, and detail-oriented
