Most sales start at noon ET and last only 36 hours, making Gilt.com an addictive destination for aspirational shoppers from coast to coast.The Styling Coordinator is a 3 month temporary position that will report directly to a Stylist and shall assist with the styling for photo shoots within this high volume production environment (36-48 looks per day, 5 days per week). This position will focus on Men's but will work across all categories in order to gain experience in all facets of the styling world. No prior fashion styling experience is required, only a desire to learn and a willingness to try new things.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Caring for all samples (steaming, taping bottoms of shoes, etc.) and notifying stylist when merchandise is damaged or flawed
Acting as a wardrobe assistant on set for RTW and still life shoots in all categories (Women?s, Mens, Still Life, Home)
Communicating with the team regarding missing or damaged merchandise
Assist the stylist on shopping for clothing and props related to daily editorial and product shoots
Working on special projects and the accomplishment of daily goals as set by the Senior Styling Manager
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a successful team environment
Keen attention to detail and experience in a deadline-driven workplace
A willingness to try new things
Self motivated
Bachelor?s degree in fashion or a related field is preferred
Passion for menswear preferred
