Job Responsibilities
The facilities supervisor will supervise all day-to-day aspects of the facilities and warehouse functions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
?Manage the maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment
?Install, move, repair, and remove equipment and utilities within the facility
?Install audio/visual equipment to complete installation of video conferencing system
?Keep in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations
?Coordinate with outside vendors
?Keep an accurate facility maintenance plan to ensure regular inspections for all avenues of the facility
?Inventory all maintenance, office and cleaning supplies
?Supervise warehouse operators conducting the receiving, shipping, and inventory control including tradeshow logistics
?Perform administrative functions to include but not limited to preparation of reports, work orders, purchase requisitions, employee time cards
?Resolve and manage freight issues
?Comply with all safety training requirements
?Supervise facility technicians, warehouse/shipping, day porters and also supervise the activities of all outside contractors who are working in and around our facility
Required Education and Experience
?High school diploma or equivalent education required
?3+ year of responsible experience in building maintenance and repair required
?1+ years experience with minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting work required
?1+ years experience in a shipping/receiving function
