Territorial Account Manager Mindjet

Mindjet is currently looking for an experienced Account Executive to be responsible for developing, negotiating, and implementing business contracts and sales with organizations with 200+ employees including Fortune 500 companies. The focus will be built around identifying market niches and increasing market penetration, while simultaneously managing transactional opportunities.
The Regional Account Executive will be fully responsible for generating revenue and achieving set quotas. The individual will contribute to Mindjet's overall corporate sales strategy, define and implement plan for assigned region to achieve Mindjet's regional growth objectives.
Candidates will be primarily responsible for driving new business opportunities from derived from inbound leads, upsell activities, and targeted outbound campaigns. They will coordinate the overall sales activities for the assigned territory. This will include new and existing business, pricing, delivery and continuous improvement activities.
Please Note: this position is based out of our California San Francisco HQ.
Responsibilities:
? Expand vision with both incoming sales leads and existing customers driving multiple license purchases and introducing new solutions
? Place 40+ prospecting calls per day to customers and new companies
? Drive proactive engagement to sales executives utilizing Mindjet?s selling methodology and techniques
? Identify and develop Mindjet?s base of existing customer ?Champions? and implement top down selling strategy
? Consultatively conduct client discovery, mapping Mindjet solutions to customer business issues
? Conduct analysis with assigned territory to identify purchase trends and methods to optimize results
? Provide input to the management team on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs
? Develop strategies for maximizing channel relationships
? Drive negotiations and manage proposal generation
? Travel regionally and nationally approximately 10-20% of the time
? Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
Requirements:
? Demonstrate past sales success preferably from within the software industry
? 5 + years of software sales experience in an individual contributor role
? Consistent overachievement of revenue goals at plus 100% of quota
? Proven ability to sell strategic deals
? Proven record of success in a transactional sales environment
? Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment
? Proven solution selling skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise ROI value statement
? Excellent presentation and listening skills, both written and verbal
? Goal oriented and self-motivated with strong time management skills
? Strategic account planning and execution experience and abilities
? Able to work independently, but within a team environment
