We are currently seeking a Territory Development Manager.
Prospect, identify and qualify opportunities using phone, email and other inside-based means.
Develop a healthy, predictable sales pipeline that greatly exceeds territory quota expectations.
Participate in the development of target account lists appropriate to best ensure long term company revenue goal attainment.
Master the use of Linkedin, social networks, and social "discovery " tools, and other networks and technologies that assist in the identification of appropriate target contacts. Appropriate target contacts defined as persons of target accounts that have a material influence on the purchasing cycles for DDN solutions.
Research and study assigned verticals sufficiently to enable meaningful conversations with contacts at target accounts in assigned territories ' vertical segments.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' telemarketing, inside sales, field sales, field marketing, social marketing or other account-based sales/marketing development roles.
Proven success working closely outside sales forces and with target account approaches to pipeline development.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills, and a keep sense of how to authentically engage prospects either on the phone or by e-mail.
Proficiency and experience with salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus.
Ability to travel to designated trade shows and/or field marketing events up to 5 days per year as approved by management.
