Job Description
Execution Orientation:
Create and execute weekly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
Manage and grow disposable and capital business within a defined geographic area.
Grow business by adding new surgeons users, increasing utilization with current surgeon users, and acquiring new customer accounts.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and quotas.
Sell or lease capital equipment to new and existing customers.
Maintain accurate account records.
Ensure effective coverage and customer support within territory, including attending surgical procedures.
May include hiring, training, and management of account manager(s) to help support existing customers in territory.
Manage expenses.
Influence and Selling Skills
Identify, establish, and maintain productive relationships with key decision makers.
Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations.
Represent OmniGuide, Inc. at industry conferences.
Develop and implement strategies to counter competitive products.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints.
Educate customers to ensure product understanding and effective usage.
Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional company image.
Communication and Company Support:
Contribute to the development of a strong team effort.
Actively participate and lead company initiatives such as product launches, key customer educational and training programs, and strategic planning sessions.
Communicate market intelligence/competitive product activity.
Self Development and Product Knowledge:
Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge.
Demonstrate a high level of organization.
Demonstrate good strategic thinking and decision making ability.
Develop interviewing, hiring, and personnel management skills.
Recognize and understand competitive products, features and strengths in relation to OmniGuide, Inc.?s products.
Actively participate in skills development programs.
Required Skills
2+ years of medical device, hospital sales experience with documented results
Demonstrate success in a previous sales role; indicate a high level of sales performance.
Must be able to present to and educate medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel.
Must be computer literate.
BA/BS degree required
Must be able to travel on occasion (10% or less annually).
