Atherotech, Inc. is a leading provider of cardio-diagnostic health services. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Ideal candidate will develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals that support and exceed minimum performance standards; work within company standards to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term growth in line with company vision and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
Develop annual business plan in conjunction with regional director, which details activities to follow so that sales quota can be met/exceeded; plan must include actions and schedules that identify specific targets and project number of contacts to be made
Complete understanding of product, pricing and proposal models
Must be effective communicator with the ability to carry on a business conversation with decision makers
Create and conduct effective educational programs and presentations
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospect activity, including calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory; follows proper reporting and paperwork requirements
Adheres to company policies, procedures and business ethics code
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in pharmaceutical sales with emphasis in cardiology/ diabetes also acceptable; minimum 3 successful years medical sales; relationships in the Family Practice/General Practice, Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular and Endocrinology call points (Lipids background is ideal), territory management experience in city territory, a stable and proven sales work history, and past awards and recognition for your successful sales career. Must be experienced in Excel, Outlook, Word, and competent in IT connectivity (laptop/internet savvy). Must have entrepreneurial knowledge and desire to "run your own business".
Position requires significant travel to current and potential clients. The possession of a valid state drivers license without driving infractions or restrictions is mandatory.
