Summary:
The software test engineer will assist or lead in the design and coding of software product components, units and modules according to contract specifications. They could participate in the analysis and development of test plans and test assigned components and units. The software test engineer will be required to provide test results and recommendation for corrections to senior developers.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Eight or more years of experience in software test development efforts.
Or equivalent:
High School/GED and 9 years
Associate?s Degree and 7 years
Master?s Degree and 3 years
Doctorate Degree and 1 year
Experience:
Software and or systems test in an agile environment using automated test tools.

Able to work independently and in a team environment
Licensures, Certifications:
Certification might be required, depending on program requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Iteratively develop test plan and procedures for a program developed using an agile sprint-driven) approach.
Serve as primary doer and coordinator ensuring tests are executed, results logged, and issues triaged.
Work with developers to verify the correct functional capabilities of the system and ensure the performance characteristics remain within bounds.
Seek to automate as much of the testing as possible to enable regression testing of previously developed sprint capabilities. This may involve setting up continuous integration jobs, as well as writing some automated tests.
Also seek to impact the requirements of the system overall, paying special attention to items that impact ongoing maintenance or visibility into the health and status of the system.
The project will be consuming data and developing analytics in the cloud and has visibility across multiple IC partners and DoD.
