The Test Engineering Intern will be responsible for managing a system test lab, including network infrastructure, services, and test equipment.This paid internship requires an average availability of 20 hours per week.
Essential Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure (routers, switches)
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of test equipment and software (traffic generators, automated switching, etc.)
Administration of network services (DHCP, DNS, NAT, etc.)
Supporting multiple project teams in network lab testing and development
Effective and regular communication with direct management and project team
Qualifications
Working toward a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment
Experience administering network services
Other Skills and Experience
Proficiency with Linux operating systems
Flexibility and a positive attitude towards change in an
Agile development environment
Interest in learning or developing test automation
Interest in testing mobile platform (iPhone, Android,Blackberry) applications a plus
