JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for Calibration, Correlation, Documentation and Training on current and developing Test Equipment and related systems for packaged LED products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain calibration and correlation of LED test systems.
• Documenting and training test equipment users.
• Work with Equipment Engineering to ensure proper maintenance and repair of test systems.
• Interfacing with Test Equipment suppliers, LED manufacturing staff both in Bridgelux and at Contract Manufacturer's locations, including Development Engineering, Production, Quality, and Reliability Staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of B.S. degree in EE, Physics, Optics or other related technology.
• 3+ years semiconductor/optical experience is required.
• Good understanding of electrical and optical devices and experience with optical or semiconductor test equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to use electronic test equipment and knowledge of appropriate prototyping and testing techniques for power electronic systems.
• Programming experience with LabView or Microsoft Visual Basic is helpful.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and quality focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to travel world-wide as needed.
